Robert James Trulaske, Jr.

June 8, 1949 ‒ April 23, 2008 


Rob Trulaske was born on June 8, 1949 to Robert and Geraldine Trulaske. He graduated in 1967 from Ladue High School where he excelled as a member of the swim and track teams. After receiving a B.A. degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1971, he joined his family’s business, True Manufacturing Company. The company is recognized as the leading manufacturer of commercial refrigerator and freezers in the world for the food service and beverage industries.

Rob Trulaske was a loyal Cardinals fan who, over the course of his life, attended games at Sportman’s Park and the old and new Busch stadiums. He was also a Mizzou fan and actively supported the university’s athletic department and business school.



He married Sarah Hager from St. Louis on August 18, 2003. Rob was a loving father, son and husband. He had endless unconditional love and support for his children. He was an avid hunter and loved nature, hiking and conservation. His biggest vision was the creation of St. Louis Life, a home for special needs adults.
