2010 Summer Program

St. Louis Life is pleased to announce that it is offering a residential Summer Program 2010 for young adults (ages 19-35) with developmental disabilities. Summer in St. Louis will be held beginning July 11th and run for three consecutive weeks. Following a structured approach, the program will include a volunteer experience, social events, educational classes, and recreational activities featuring many St. Louis area attractions. Summer in St. Louis is ideal for individuals who might be considering St. Louis Life as a long-term program destination.

Summer Program 2010 session dates are as follows:

  • Session 1: July 11-17
  • Session 2: July 18-24
  • Session 3: July 25-July 31

Program fees are $800 per week or $2300 for three weeks. Fees include apartment accommodations, 2 meals per day, activity-related costs, program materials, and 24/7 staff support. Participants must apply for a minimum of one week. Space is limited so applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Families interested in a summer experience longer than three weeks should contact me to discuss special arrangements.

All applications are subject to St. Louis Life’s general Admission Criteria (www.stlouislife.org/admissions). While St. Louis Life serves a wide range of needs, a careful review of each application is made before acceptance. The deadline for applications is Friday, June 4, 2010.
